We are so pleased that you have expressed an interest in learning more about the Walton Career Academy. The Walton Career Academy is an exciting collaborative endeavor with local business and industry, the Walton County Board of Education, and Athens Technical College.
The Walton Career Academy is a non-profit charter school designed to offer students a pathway for achieving college and career goals. The Academy opened its doors for the first time in the 2006-2007 school year.
As the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Academy, I am enthusiastic about the many opportunities that this new school will bring to the citizens of Walton County.
